✅ How to Get to Yangshuo

There is no airport in Yangshuo. Yangshuo High‑speed Railway Station is located in Xingping Town, not the county town. You still need to transfer to get into the county after arriving.

🚄 High‑speed Train (Recommended, top choice for visitors from other cities)

Buy a ticket directly to Yangshuo Station (Xingping). There are direct trains from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Changsha, Guiyang and other cities. The ride from Guilin Station / Guilin North / Guilin West to Yangshuo Station takes only 20–30 minutes. Second‑class seat costs about ¥27–40.

  • Shuttle buses are on the left as you exit Yangshuo Station. Fare: ¥20 per person. It takes around 40 minutes to Fengming Transport Hub in Yangshuo County (near West Street).
  • Taxis or shared rides are also available to the county. You may visit Xingping Ancient Town and the 20‑Yuan Note Landscape on the way.

✈️ By Air

Fly to Guilin Liangjiang International Airport (KWL). Direct airport buses to Yangshuo are available:

  • Fare: ¥50, travel time about 90 minutes. Buy tickets in the arrival hall. Operating hours: 09:30–22:30.
  • If you do not want to wait for the bus, online car‑hailing or private chartered cars can take you straight to Yangshuo. You can book the taxi online from here.

🚌 Coach Bus (Guilin urban area → Yangshuo)

Buses run from Guilin South Bus Station (Chadian Road) to Yangshuo Bus Station directly.

  • Ticket price: ¥20–27, about 1.5 hours’ ride. Frequent departures roughly from 7:00 to 20:00.

🛳️ Li River Cruise (Best for sightseeing, good for a relaxing trip)

Board at Mopan Shan Wharf in Guilin, disembark at Longtoushan Wharf in Yangshuo (very close to West Street).

  • Whole journey around 4.5 hours. 3‑star cruise starts from ¥230, with simple meals included. You will pass scenic spots including Nine Horses Mural Hill and the 20‑Yuan Note Landscape along the Li River.

⚠️ Great for your first day itinerary to enjoy mountain and river views; downside: time‑consuming.

🚗 Self‑drive / Chartered Car

Navigate directly to Yangshuo West Street / Yangshuo County Town via Baomao Expressway. Guilin to Yangshuo is around 65 km, about 1 hour drive. Multiple parking lots are available in the county.
