A really great place to stay in Yangshuo. Away from the touristy centre of Yangshuo but only an easy 15 minute walk. A chance to stay in a local neighbourhood and better get an idea of Chinese life here, with very tasty food included in the price. The rooms were fine, clean etc, just right for the price. More of a guesthouse than a homestay, but mealtimes offer a good opportunity to meet fellow travellers (the main reason I say it isn't a homestay is because you eat with the other guests rather than the family). Wei is friendly and will help you organise trips etc at good rates and his wife is very smiley and a great cook. Can't recommend highly enough. |

Dear Wei,::I and my parents enjoyed the stay at your house very much. The best thing was actually that we met people from all over the world, and not only young backpackers, but also people from every age and culture background. Providing for all dinner and breakfast is also a very good oppurtunity to get in contact with the other visitors so easily.Oliver Hüttenrauch |

This was the highlight of my stay in China. I saved up for this great trip to Yangshuo and I decided to stay in a dependable/highly rated place. I couldn't have hoped for anything better. Everything was perfect-- from the fellow travelers at the guest house, to the food, to the guidance of what to explore from the owner, Wei. |

More like a guest house than a hostel, this was one of the nicest places we've stayed in China. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the price. As they are at set times, all the guests sit down together, which made it really sociable as we all caught up with each other at the end of the day. The owner, Mr. Wei, also gives lessons in several aspects of Chinese culture and we learnt mahjong and calligraphy as well as doing tai chi every morning. Mr. Wei and his family are all very friendly. |

This is the most wonderful place to stay in Yangshuo. The food is amazing, the rooms spacious and comfortable, the company enjoyable, the staff incredibly kind and helpful. Thank you Wei, for opening your home to us. |

Wei and his family are very friendly, i enjoyed a very good time with them and the village, they try to help you anytime and with a nice smile; in addition, the dinner was fantastic. If you are looking for a good and quiet hostel, this is yours; it is about 15 min of the main street, which is crowded most of the nights. thanks for all your help!! |

To stay with this family, is a real priviledge. We were able to experience the community side of Yangshuo, not just the touristic side. As everybody mentions, the meals are wonderful and nutritious, and a great time to connect to other interesting travellers. Mr Wei's travel advice and assistance was invaluable. Best of all we appreciated his lessons in Tai Chi, Chinese language and Chinese painting. We ended up staying for ten days, because we felt so happy in this accommodation, and there is so much to do around Yangshuo. One day we went cycling and Xing Feng, Mr Wei's sister in law came with to show us the way. She is a lovely person and, when cycling, it is worth paying a guide to avoid getting lost (as happens to many cyclists). This is a house of grace and kindness, and very affordable too. Elizabeth and Paul, and children Sam and Tumi. |

It is the right place to stay in Yangshuo. Not in the touristy city-center, and perfectly run by Wei and his family. Rooms clean and cheap (3 meals included). Wei was always very helpful when we asked him about getting around: good advice and good price. As the day was rainy, he tour us in his car around some nice villages in the countrside, and told us many things about history. Really nice people.Thank you so much.Absolutely recommended. |

The Yangshuo Culture House is a unique, comfortable, convenient and friendly hostel, making it a hidden gem in Yangshuo. Wei, the owner, is extremely accomodating, and he will organize everything for you, including local tours, evening performances, and even domestic and international travel. His family is just as wonderful as he is, so you really feel at home. The home-cooked food is so far the best I've had in China!!! YUMMY!

Staying at Yangshuo culture house was one of the best decisions that i have made in my visit to china. The hostel is very friendly and welcoming, the owner Wei is a kind person that you can trust to get tourist advice, such as tours to take. Plus you get 3 meals included, and I must say they are some of the most amazing meals i have had. |

I really enjoyed my stay at Yangshuo Culture House and would recommend it to everybody. I felt more like a member of the family than a visitor. |

This is not a hotel nor a hostel: it is "at home" where you eat and live with the Wei Family: the very helpfull people of the house. Although not a towncenter location a bicycle comes in handy. Mr Wei sees to it that his guests do not pay too much for trips. |

A truly unique experience that i would recommend to anyone traveling through yangshuo! the location is a bit of a ways from west street, but it's kinda nice to be off the beaten path. plus you get to stay with a chinese family and eat delicious meals with them! it's better than any hostel! |

This family-run hostel makes you feel right at home. The welcome was very warm and friendly. The rooms are spacious, the beds are big and comfy, and the meals, aaahhh, they are delicious. Be prepared to put on weight! A place not to be missed. Mister Wei is a great source of information on the tourist spots and he can teach you to speak Chinese - or even write. There is much much more, come and see for yourselves. |

"Wei" and his family was very nice and sincerly helped me feel at home. My room opened into the balconey and I was able to see Yangshou's limestone mountains, this house is locate in a quiet neighbourhood. Thus I was able to get a good sleep and its only 10 to 15mins away from "west street". I hightly recommended. |
